A commander recently ordered everyone to show up for "family day", even the single guys, and being in the military we all had to go. But the order he gave (in writing) also "required" the spouses to attend.
Isn't this some legal violation or something? If so, what law?
Does it make a difference if the commander requires the military member to get and sign and "exception letter" from the group commander for not attending? Isn't that attepted coersion?
