Pennsylvania does not currently have a specific "Used Cars" lemon law at this time. Luckily, you may be able to claim a lemon law to bring nature, if you bought a "used" vehicle that still some of the original manufacturer's warranty when they buy it. If your used vehicle, suffered a defect while under warranty of the original manufacturer, there is a federal law called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Actthat the cars that a written warranty covers used on them. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects consumers who to buy any product that costs more than $ 25 and comes with a written warranty, so would a used car will be covered by this law.

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is similar to the Pennsylvania Lemon Law in many ways, and in some aspects, the better. Like the Pennsylvania Lemon Law, the law provides for a refund or free replacement of thedefective product and provides further coverage of all costs including attorney's fees for bringing such a claim. If the buyer can demonstrate that the used vehicle market suffered a significant deficiency or failure during the warranty period, and the manufacturer was able to remedy this shortcoming, will deliver the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act to facilitate the buyer. The Magnuson-Moss Act is an act that was designed to ensure that (the manufacturers all products or services) that a writtenWarranty on this product comply with and honor the terms of any guarantee that they give. A buyer of a used motor vehicle is a prime candidate for this law in the event that he bought a used "lemon" used because the original manufacturer warranty for all subsequent transfers of ownership of the vehicle until it expires based mileage or a certain length of time .
