In IL if you have a problem with a new modular home, the IL Department of Public Health(IDPH) may do absolutely nothing to enforce their regulations as they did in my case. BTW, IDPH is the agency responsible for regulating modular homes in IL. Our IL Governor's office is supposed to oversee IDPH. Yet, no one wants to do anything to enforce the regulations set forth by IDPH in Statute 430-ILCS-115. Not all modular homes are built the same. In IL, if you are fortunate enough to receive a modular home that is actually built to code and to the specifications(plans) provided to IDPH by the manufacturer, then you are lucky.
